Course Description: This ONE-ON-ONE series is for anyone who has a writing project that they want to get FINISHED. We'll meet on Zoom once a week for four weeks to:
establish weekly writing goals
participate in a short writing exercise
workshop pages, feedback session
Fee: Three sliding scale fee tiers available. Choosing the highest tier that you can currently afford helps ensure that we can continue to offer lower-cost solutions for those who need them. Each tier includes all four workshop days.

Instructor: Janis Robertson
Janis Robertson grew up among oak trees, rattlesnakes, and coyotes howling at night. An avid traveler, Janis assisted artists in the outback, hiked volcanoes in the Andes, climbed glaciers in Norway, and sampled the local beer in 34 countries. Janis has sold a show to Nickelodeon, developed pilots with Todd MacFarlane, Animal Logic, and Wind Sun Sky. She has also written for the adult animated series LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS, as well as MIDDLEMOST POST, BEN 10, and many other Cartoon Network shows. After starting her career at Industrial Light + Magic, Janis made her way to Los Angeles and graduated from the UCLA MFA Screenwriting Program. Utilizing an encouraging, supportive approach, she has taught at The Animation Guild, Warrior Art Camp, CGMA, and the Troubleshooting Writer's Workshop.Are you a paid subscriber? Take 10% off! Instructor: Anna Siri
Anna Siri is an award-winning screenwriter, producer, script doctor, and ghostwriter who grew up in Central America, Mexico, Washington, DC, and Chicago before landing in California. She filled her head with knowledge at Northwestern University and UCLA, and when she's not trying to get her projects off the ground, spends most of her time traveling to interesting places and writing at airport gates and other people's kitchen tables. She has two decades of experience as a reader, consultant, and contest judge for, among others, Coverage Ink, the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, Senator Entertainment, New Regency, the Universal Studios Writers Program, the PAGE Awards, the Slamdance Film Festival, Final Draft’s Big Break Competition, and the American Zoetrope Screenplay Competition. In addition to reading and development of feature and pilot projects, she currently serves as general manager for Coverage Ink and a partner and collaborator at Girl In Trouble Stories. Accolades include Best Short Film at the Dark Carnival Film Festival for Caution Sign and the UCLA Professional Program Writer’s Award for The News Girl. Credits also include the feature horror Meadowoods and the graphic novel Warhawks, as well as production coordinator and director's assistant on the animated horror feature To Your Last Death.
